Beverages Corporation is looking at the possibility of online sales of liquor in the state. This is the first time in Kerala the government is implementing a virtual queue system for liquor sales. The App name is “BevQ”. It will be available in the Playstore soon.
As per sources consumers can book their liquor from 27th May. All Beverages / Consumer Fed Outlets and Bar Counters will open from Thursday, 28th May. According to the reports, Kerala State Beverages Corporation (KSBC) conducted the trial of its mobile app earlier this week.
Even though BevQ app is read, Google had raised security issues before its release on its ‘Play Store’. The new KSBC BEVCO drink app set to launch tomorrow 27th May has been developed by Faircode Technologies based in Kochi. The app will avail the facility of online booking for virtual queue token for the purchase of liquor in BEVCO owned shops in Kerala.
